On Friday 25 November MCNS hosted a dance with the Year 10 girls from Mt St Benedict’s.
Part of the day was spent looking at the theme of “Respectful Relationships” which linked in well with the White Ribbon Day awareness campaign. Three of our Year 10 students, Riley S, Heath M and Sebastian H volunteered to prepare and present speeches and guide some discussion around these important issues. They spoke so well with such authenticity and conviction.
The other part of the day was spent dancing. Joan Carmody led the students from both schools in a variety of dances to good, fun, modern music. The students all seemed to get into the spirit of the day and have a good time.
