Learning Support
Open Classroom
Learning Support offers a program termed “Open Classroom” for all students Years 7-12. This program is principally to assist students who may require extra support with homework, class work and/or assessment tasks and for students who may wish to drop-in to complete homework at school rather than at home.
The “Open Classroom” Program Hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am – 8.30am and Monday to Friday at lunchtime 12.45pm – 1.30pm in the Learning Support Centre (Room 21).
Learning Support staff and Year Eleven Peer Support students are available to assist students.
Literacy Support Program
The Literacy Program offers support to Year 7 students to improve your Literacy skills - reading, language and writing. Volunteer tutors assist you one- to- one. The tutors are friendly, patient and encouraging and meet with you each week for two periods.

Learning Support Centre
The Learning Support Centre is a quiet space for you to work with the learning support teacher or teacher’s aide. The Centre offers support to you and to small groups of students and gives you access to resources and equipment including a computer and printer and audio visual equipment. You are encouraged to use the Centre if you need support in completing homework, class work or assessments.
Peer Support
Come and meet Year 11 Peer Support students who are friendly and willing to give a helping hand.
