Annual Musical 2009

The cast, band and crew should be very proud of their efforts.  As I said to a very excited group of students after the final show on Saturday night, the reward for all their extraordinary hard work was the positive audience response each night and the personal satisfaction of a job well done.  What many in the audience had not realised is that illness had struck the final week of the rehearsal and the actual production week – which meant that there was not one night when the full cast was present.  Under these conditions the cast, band and crew raised their efforts and many people simply took up additional responsibilities without question.  Congratulations and thank you to every member of the cast, band and crew.

Many have asked “What show are we doing next year?”  Whilst this decision has not been made (or even discussed) yet, there certainly will be a 2010 production!  Hopefully, we will again have a production team that approach everything they do with the same enthusiasm, professionalism and “Marist tradition” that the 2009 saw.
