Year 7 Enrolment
Applications for Year 7 open beginning of Term 1 and close on 31 March two years prior to the student’s anticipated commencement at the College. Eg, Year 7 2020 applications will be accepted from Term 1, 2018.
Once all documentation and fee payments are received, we will contact you to arrange an Enrolment Interview. Interviews are usually held in May on an Enrolment Interview Day. At this day, the Headmaster or another senior member of staff will interview Parents and their Sons.
At the conclusion of interviews, all applications are reviewed. The criteria outlined in the College’s Enrolment Policy are used to determine which boys are offered confirmed places and which boys are placed on the official waiting list. Parents are notified within three months of the official Enrolment Interview Day.
Prior to your son starting at Marist North Shore in Year 7, there are several key events that are all held to facilitate a smooth transition into Marist College North Shore:
- Information Evening for Parents and Boys
- Uniform Fitting Day
- Orientation Day at the College (Students only)
These events are conducted in Term 4 prior to your son is due to start at Marist College North Shore
Years 8 – 12 Enrolment
For many reasons parents seek to change their school enrolment for their son during their secondary education. Some of these are for commencement at the start of the school year, others for a start during the school year. In all cases the process is the same. All enrolments are subject to the availability of places. It is possible that no vacancies will be available for a particular Year Group.
If a place is available or likely to become available in the near future an Enrolment Interview is arranged with the Headmaster or another suitable member of staff. Following the interview, the Headmaster will decide whether the student is suited to the College. If so, a place will be offered. All enrolments are at the Headmaster’s discretion.
To accept and finalise the enrolment parents/guardians must sign and return the Confirmation of Enrolment Form and other applicable documentation.
