The Literacy Program offers support to Year 7 students who wish to improve their Literacy skills in reading, language and writing.  Volunteer tutors within our Marist community assist students one-on-one. The tutors are friendly, patient and encouraging and meet each week with students for two periods.

This program offered to selected Year 7 students in the Academic Resource Centre.
Thursdays: Period 2 & 3.

Learning Support Centre

The Learning Support Centre is a quiet space for students to work with the Learning Support Teacher or Teacher’s Aide. The Centre offers support to individual students or small groups of students and provides access to resources and equipment including computers, a printer and audio-visual equipment. Students are encouraged to use the Centre if they need support in completing homework, class work or assessments.

Peer Support

The Peer Support Program is comprised of selected Year 11 students who act as mentors to our young students in regards to study and wellbeing in the Learning Support Centre and their Tutor Groups. We encourage all junior students to come and meet our Peer Support students who are friendly and willing to give a helping hand.
