INTENSIVE Literacy Support Program – BREAKFAST CLUB

The Breakfast Club is offered to a select group of Year 7 students who require assistance in developing foundational literacy skills in reading, language, comprehension and writing.  Volunteer tutors within our Marist community assist students one-on-one. The program is held on Thursday mornings throughout Term 2 and Term 3.

Open Classroom is a quiet space for students to work with the Learning Support Team. The Centre offers support to all students of the College providing assistance with homework, classwork and assessment tasks.

Peer Support

The Peer Support Program is comprised of selected Year 11 students who act as mentors to our young students in regards to study and wellbeing in the Andrew Power Centre and their Tutor Groups. We encourage all junior students to come and meet our Peer Support leader who are friendly and willing to give a helping hand.
